Who:
Dennis Keen is a Californian author, researcher, journalist and tour guide living in Kazakhstan. He’s the founder of Walking Almaty and Monumental Almaty, an organisation that promotes the study and conservation of Soviet-era monumental art in Kazakhstan. Dennis holds a MA in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies from Stanford University and has previously hosted his own travel show on Kazakhstan’s national television.
