A TIMELESS PARADISE LOST AMIDST THE WAVES OF THE SOUTH PACIFIC

DAY 1 - Welcome to Tuvalu

Meet-and-greet at Funafuti International Airport and transfer to our hotel of choice in Funafuti, the largest atoll in the country.

Tuvaluan welcome refreshment and a well-deserved couple of hours of rest to recover from the long-haul flights behind you.

Dinner and overnight in Funafuti.

DAY 2 - Funafuti

Our second day in Tuvalu will be entirely devoted to Funafuti, .

The long series of natural and cultural highlights of our tropical sojourn in Funafuti includes (but is not limited to):

Tuvalu’s parliament building and philatelic bureau, traditional canoe carving workshops, World-War-II wrecks and remains, and the Tuvaluan Women's Handicraft Centre.

Additional activities in Funafuti: snorkelling and scuba diving* in the Funafuti Conservation Area, scooter rides around Fongafale, boat rides into the open ocean around the island, and traditional Tuvaluan food tasting on Afelita.

Dinner and overnight in Funafuti.

DAY 3 to DAY 5 - Outer Islands

We will spend the next three days travelling by private boat around the extremely remote outer islands of Tuvalu.

The list of atolls we will call at includes Nukufetau, Vaitupu, and the Nukulaelae Conservation Area on the northern tip of the namesake lagoon.

If weather and time will allow, we will also visit Niulakita, the southernmost atoll in Tuvalu and one of the remotest inhabited places in the world.

Needless to say, during our time on the Tuvaluan Outer Islands, we will have the unique chance to meet with the local dwellers, who will share with us their food, their stories and the secrets of their culture.

Dinner and overnight on the outer islands of Tuvalu.

DAY 6 - Farewell to Paradise

Transfer to Funafuti International Airport for your return flight via Fiji.
