DAY 1– MOGADISHU

Meet-and-Greet at Mogadishu International Airport and secure transfer to our hotel compounded.

Welcome refreshment and introductory briefing about the set of rules to observe while travelling in Somalia.

Visit to the Somali Youth League Memorial, the Dhagaxtuur Obelisk, the fascist-era Arch of Umberto I, and the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.

Dinner and overnight in Mogadishu.

DAY 2 – Mogadishu

Visit to the Fish Market, the old colonial harbour, the crumbling lighthouse, the solemn Almnara Tower, and the Lido, the city’s most famous beach.

If the security situation permits, we may also attempt a visit to the colourful Bakaara open-air market, the largest of its kind in Somalia.

Overnight in Mogadishu.

DAY 3 – FAREWELL TO SOMALIA  

After enjoying a last Somali meal together, we’ll take care of your secure transfer to Mogadishu International Airport.

For those travellers with a few days to spare we can arrange short add-on trips and longer tour extensions to most (safe) areas of Somalia, including the southern city of Kismayo in Jubaland and Bosaso and Garowe in the northern autonomous state of Puntland.
