DAY 1•MOGADISHU

Meet-and-Greet at Mogadishu International Airport and secure transfer to our compounded hotel.

Welcome refreshment and introductory briefing about the set of rules to observe while travelling in Somalia.

Visit to the Somali Youth League Memorial, the Dhagaxtuur Obelisk, and the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.

Dinner and overnight in Mogadishu.

DAY 2•Mogadishu

Visit to the Fish Market, the old colonial harbour, its splendid lighthouse and the Lido, the city’s most famous beach.

If the security situation permits, we may also attempt a visit to the colourful Bakaara open-air market, the largest of its kind in Somalia.

DAY 3 • BOSASO  

Airport transfer and domestic flight to Bosaso, a major seaport within the autonomous Puntland state.

Full-day sightseeing in and around Bosaso: bazaars, mosques, fishing hamlets and sandy shores.

DAY 4•ARMO  

We’ll devote our fourth tour day to the exploration of Puntland, heading towards Armo, an important military outpost and trading hub nestled in the mountains that mark the border between the historical regions of Sanaag and Bari.

DAY 5•CAPE GUARDAFUI EXTENSION  

After enjoying a last Somali meal together, we’ll take care of your transfer to Bosaso International Airport.

For those travellers with a few days to spare, we will arrange a 5-day overland adventure to Cape Guardafui, the easternmost point of continental African and the site of an impressive colonial era lighthouse shaped like the emblem of Benito Mussolini’s notorious brainchild, the National Fascist Party.
